Special Terms & Conditions 

  1. This offer is valid for statement cycles starting from 01stMay 2020 until terminated by Sampath Bank PLC.
  2. The additional maximum ‘Cash Back’ amount per month per Cardmember will be Rs.1,500/-.
  3. To be eligible for the offer, Cardmember should spend a minimum of Rs. 25,000/- monthly, excluding instalment transactions, monthly instalment amounts, cash instalment planners, balance transfers, cash advances, Bank fees and charges, promotional transactions, tobacco, alcohol, casino or gambling transactions performed locally, overseas or online.
  4. Transactions considered for 15% Fuel, Supermarket and Utility bill payments Cash Back will not be entitled for the general ‘Cash Back’.


General Terms & Conditions  

  1. This offer is valid for all Sampath Bank American Express® Everyday Cardmembers.
  2. Payments made to above nominated merchants using SABS (Sampath Automated Bill Settlement) will be entitled for the offer.
  3. This offer cannot be exchanged for Cash and/or used in conjunction with any other promotional programs or offers provided by the establishments involved in this offer.
  4. Any ‘Cash Back’ credited to Cardmember will not be considered as a payment or cannot be used to set off an amount due to the Bank.
  5. The ‘Cash Back’ will be calculated based on the Cardmember total eligible purchases billed during the Cardmember monthly statement period and the eligible ‘Cash Back’ will be shown in the subsequent statement of the respective Cardmember.
  6. The Bank accepts no liability for any late submission of the purchases by the merchants.
  7. The Bank accepts no responsibility in any way for goods/services purchased and any dispute relating to same should be resolved by the Cardmember directly with the partner and any claim by the Cardmember against the partner will not relieve the Cardmember from his/her obligation or repayment to the Bank.
  8. The general Terms & Conditions of Sampath Bank PLC and partnering merchant shall apply.
  9. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Bank shall be final.
  10. The Bank reserves the right to modify or change the Terms & Conditions of the offer.
  11. The Bank reserves the right to amend/withdraw this offer at its sole discretion.
