SET Plus is a safe depository system for valuable jewellery with a standby credit facility. When you deposit your jewellery in a SET Plus gold depository, we open a SET Plus account with the value of your gold, making it accessible to you from your SET card.

How does it operate?
- Walk into any Sampath Bank branch.
- Hand over your Gold jewellery to the officer
- Obtain a Sampath Gold Certificate to the value of your Gold jewellery.

Who is eligible to open an account?
- Sri Lankan citizens over 18 years of age irrespective whether they are
  Sampath Bank account holders or not.
- Business entities and joint account holders are not permitted.

How to apply?
- You must be over 18 years of age.
- Deposit gold jewellery with the Bank safe depository account.
- Value limit:
           Minimum assessed value  - Rs 25,000
           Maximum assessed value - Rs 500,000
- Apply for a limit desired.
