Entrance of Sampath Bank in 1986 opened a new era in the Banking industry in Sri Lanka, operating on a fully automated system and on-line accessibility in all branches from the inception Sampath converted technology to customer conveniences and placed world class banking services at the hands of the Sri Lankan people.

To be in line with the Banks' strategy of introducing and enhancing products & services in par with todays ever increasing and dynamic corporate needs, the Bank has established a specialized Corporate Finance Division.

The division has been evolved through a business model of applying experienced investment banking / commercial banking talent to a limited number of clients in specific industries with a strong emphasis on commitment to professionalism & service. Main objectives of the division include the ability to deliver creative, customer-led solutions.
